i look'd up some stuff on monetizing twitter & this is the best stuff i could find:
magpie : you can either register to advertise or to tweet.
twittad: here you let a company "buy" your background for a given amount of time.
also: adjix allows you shorten urls (like tinyurl) w/ the inclusion of a small advertisement on top.
hootsuite has a simlar dealio w/google adsense & url reduction by owl.ly
